Ganesh and the lotus flower both have significant cultural values in India. I tried to utilize these elements to communicate culture as well as cuisine.
The painting is all in gouache and it was a bunch of fun.
A mock-up menu for a mock-up restaurant. I thought the illustration by mid-century illustrator, Gyo Fujikawa, was so charming, sweet, and pleasant that it would be a great launching point for my childrens menu project.
